The Yunnan Ethnic Culture Palace project has a total construction area of 31,900m2 and is one of the 12 major cultural facilities in Yunnan Province. When completed, it will include 4 functional areas: ethnic culture display area, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, training, display and research area, ethnic culture exchange area, and ethnic culture and art performance area.
The Yunnan Provincial Ethnic Culture Palace project is a key project of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and is one of the important initiatives to realise Yunnan's initiative to integrate into and serve the national development strategy, and strive to build itself into a demonstration area of ethnic unity and progress in China and a leader in the construction of ecological civilisation.
