2. Wear and slippage between the wire rope and the traction sheave during elevator operation, please check the following:
(1) Whether the traction sheave and wire rope in accordance with the original design are selected;
(2) Review the elevator traction conditions;
(3) Review the shape and wrap angle of the traction sheave rope groove;
(4) Whether the grease of the steel wire rope is moderate;
(5) Whether the tension of the wire rope is adjusted consistently;
(6) Is there any deformation of the wire rope during operation;
(7) Whether the wire rope trembles in the hoistway;
(8) Whether the installation of guide rails and guide shoes is accurate;
(9) Whether the counterweight is suitable.
note:
1. The service life of the wire rope is determined by the material of the sheave, the shape of the groove, the method of winding the rope, and the use environment.
2. For the elevator with a complex winding method or machine room-free and gearless transmission, specially designed steel wire rope should be used.
