Brief introduction to composition

Modern elevator is mainly composed of traction machine (winch), guide rail, counterweight device, safety device (such as speed governor, safety gear and buffer), signal control system, car and hall door, etc. These parts are respectively installed in the shaft and machine room of the building. Usually, steel wire rope friction drive is used. The steel wire rope bypasses the traction wheel, and the two ends are connected to the car and counterweight respectively. The motor drives the traction wheel to lift the car. The elevator is required to be safe and reliable, high conveying efficiency, accurate leveling and comfortable riding. The basic parameters of the elevator are rated load, number of passengers, rated speed, car size and shaft type.

The traction system includes traction motor, traction rope wheel, reducer, brake, traction machine base, turning wheel, etc. The traction pulley is installed on the traction beam. The elevator traction machine is the driving mechanism of the elevator operation. With the help of the bearing beam, it bears all the loads (dynamic load and static load) of all reciprocating lifting components through the traction rope wheel. The load-bearing beam mostly adopts I-beam structure.

The suspension compensation system is composed of traction rope, car and all structural parts of counterweight, compensation rope, tension wheel, etc. The car and counterweight are the main parts of the elevator running vertically, and the car is the box container for carrying passengers and goods.

The guiding system includes guide rail and guide shoe to guide the lift car and counterweight to move vertically.

Electrical system is the control system of elevator, including various contactors, relays, controllers and displays.
