Second, elevator parts with high operating frequency are prone to aging, and "downtime" occurs before the scheduled inspection date. For example, during an inspection in a hotel, it was found that the polyurethane buffer of the elevator had been severely aged and peeled off, and it had fallen off the metal base. The buffer is an important component to ensure the safe operation of the elevator. Once a natural crack on the surface is found, the buffer should be replaced in time.
The third is that there is water accumulation in the elevator pit, which is easy to cause damage to buffers, emergency stops, lighting, and electrical circuits. Long-term water accumulation will corrode the metal and reduce the strong performance. This situation may be caused by the following reasons. The waterproof layer of the elevator pit is not completed, and the groundwater of the building infiltrates into the pit; the water from the household cleaning and washing during the renovation period flows into the elevator shaft; on rainy days, especially typhoon storms, it leads to the top floor The door was not closed properly, and rainwater flows into the stairwell through the sky, thus entering the elevator shaft. Once you find water in the pit, you must immediately find out the cause and clean up the water.
